I have a 10-year-old+ Samsung side-by-side refrigerator, RS261MDWP/XXA. It is currently -10 degrees in the freezer and 20 degrees in the regular cabinet. It's even freezing the milk! I replaced the thermistor in the refrigerator cabinet, but there was no change, and the old thermistor checked out okay. I tried to run a diagnostics, but I didn't get any error codes. Any suggestions?

You mentioned that the fridge runs nonstop. Perhaps the start relay on the compressor is defective and not allowing the compressor to turn off. Just guessing. This could potentially lead to over cooling. I'm not a technician, but it's worth checking out. I know that a defective start relay can cause a compressor not to start (and cool) because I just replaced the start relay on my Thermador. You may also want to try a reset. There are online videos that will show you how to do this. It might be worth a try.

I decided to replace the control board in the back. Same problem!
