I have a GE gfe24jskafss fridge. The ice maker side of the water valve makes a constant buzzing sound, sometimes getting extremely loud. The valve burns out after about a week.
I have replaced the water valve twice. The main board in the door, the main board for the fridge. No changes so far. All of these were recommendations from appliance repair sites. None have worked, and it is getting expensive. I could use a new approach.
