I have had an increasing issue with my fridge showing the FF error code. I was told it was the evaporator fan in the freezer. I noticed it was not spinning and when I took it out and it thawed out it was full of ice. So I replaced the fan. The new fan did nothing. I did some more research and discovered the main control board may be bad, so I replaced the LG 6871JB1423B with a LG 6871JB1423N and was told it was the new replacement board. I just installed it with the new fan and again I get the FF code and the fan just sits there mocking me. Is it possible that putting the new fan on the old board burnt it up?
Could I have a bad fan again?!?! Or board?!?! This is very frustrating. From what I can tell there is nothing else I can replace besides the refrigerator. If I could at this point I would but that is not an option.
