This is for a Maytag washer dryer combo lsg7806aae

I saw a few other's having this problem and identified the lid switch. I used a meter for a continuity test on the lid switches and they worked. It should work because opening and closing the lid stops and starts the water. It machine just doesn't turn on after that. It doesn't spin and rinse either if I turn the timer to the spin portion. Please help
