When I wash a load of dishes, the soap in the main wash dispensor does not come out. I checked the dispensor door and it opens when I press the release holding it closed, but I need to know what activates the door release so the soap dispenses. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you........

Does it open at the end of the cycle or it stays closed?

Thanks for replying Gene,

The dispenser door never opens, the only soap going in is from the other side of the dispenser door which has 3 small slots. When I opened the dispenser door after a wash cycle the soap on the main side then comes out.

Mike,

The part which is responsible for this function is the wax motor (#1 on the diagram).
