Dishwasher dial extremely difficult to move sometimes. Have to really force it. Sometimes sticks at twelve O'clock position and will not move and have to let cycle run.

What can I do to fix this problem with the dial?

Thank you.

Drip couple drops of water between the timer knob and the panel. It will work as a lubricant.

Gene, I'm assuming you mean the dial on the outside of the dishwasher and the outside panel.

Thanks, Gary

Yes, that's right. Do not use any oil or grease. Just one or two drops of water.
