Our Thermador oven door no longer closes tightly. There is nothing visibly obstructing nor does anything visibly appear bent.
Google search seems to suggest replacing the hinges (#00487238).
Does one also typically need to replace the hinge support (#00415049) or does that have nothing to do with keeping the door closed?
Is there any way to fix/strengthen the hinge short of replacing the hinges?
Thanks

Sometimes just removing the door and re-installing it will fix this problem. If the above does not work then I would replace the hinges. Could be that part of it may be damaged or the springs have lost some tension. See the below so yo have something as a reference. Part number: AP2836969
Below is the hinge support also so you have a reference. Clicking on the picture will give you more views of it. These are usually OK unless you can see a problem with it. Part number: AP2832441
