I have the Kenmore Coldspot and it makes ice, but it has water leaking into the ice maker towards the back and causing the ice to become one big chunk?
Thanks, Tom

You could have a leaking or weeping water valve that is overfilling your IM. It could be your IM is shorting a little and running the fill cycle too long, overfilling the tray.

So do you think I should try replacing the water valve first? Thanks for responding.

Do you still get overflow with the ice maker off? If you do, then its the water valve.

No, with the ice maker off, I don't get any water into the freezer.

Do you have an idea of what I should start with replacing?

The complete model number of the refrigerator might help for a more accurate advise.
