I have a Kenmore gas oven that will ignite and get to the set temperature quickly. The displayed temperature stays at the set temperature but the oven cools down and will not re-ignite unless the temperature dial is turned down and then back again, at this point it goes to preheat then the cycle begins again.

Essentially it only heats when in preheat.
