My GE Dryer has outer and inner coils. The Outer coil is burned out. Will it still run with just the inner coils working?

Maybe. It depends on how its wired. If thats an older dryer, they made restring kits for the elements. Quite a bit cheaper than buying the whole element. Model numbers help.
