Hello,

I just purchased a new FFHB2750TS refrigerator and one of the issues I am noticing is that when I open the bottom-mount (under the French doors) freezer door, sometimes it makes a loud "pop" noise on the left-hand side, just as the door starts to open.

I've determined that using two hands and pulling more evenly from both the left and right sides usually eliminates the popping noise (for now). When pulling on the left side the popping sound is more likely. It is also more likely to be heard if the door has not been opened for some time. Any ideas what this could be? I feel as if allowing this popping noise to continue is just going to lead to a more expensive repair in the future - is this the case or would it just be the same component that needs to be fixed?

Thanks,

Dave
