JCG9536ADS gas cooktop
This is a 5 burner unit, approx 15 years old.
I'm giving it a refresh after 4 burners stopped igniting automatically.

Replaced all 5 igniters; insulating gaskets, and a couple burners that I couldn't get the igniter screws out of...

Cleaned & re-assembled everything.
Two right burners and center burner all ignite like they are supposed to, light up almost immediately and the spark stops

The two left burners ignite, but they keep sparking.
The only way to end the sparking is to have both left burners on.
(I've tried every possible combination of burners on/off, this is the single one that ends the sparking.)

I didn't label the igniter wires when I disassembled everything. I believe they are back on the original locations, but there's the possibility that I may have swapped the center one with one on the left side.

I'm thinking one of the left burner switches ( link to switch )is bad.

Am I on the right path? Is it a continuity thing thru the switch?
