Hello all. I have an old Kenmore washer, recently replaced the worn clutch which fixed the "no spin" problem I was having so I thought I was all set. I did however notice that now when the washer is draining, it is also spinning. This washer is supposed to have a "neutral drain" feature to prevent that from happening. It's weird because every now and then the tub does stay locked during the drain cycle. From the research I've done I'm guessing the problem is either the gearbox or the timer. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Everything else with the gearbox/transmission seems to work fine. It spins very fast and it stops and brakes as it always has. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
