Kenmore 106.57799703

Fridge stopped cooling, contents lost. I'm very good with DIY repairs but not so much with refrigeration.

Symptoms:

Condenser fan running, condenser coils underneath dusty but not clogged.

Compressor is hot to touch. Not enough for instant burn but too hot to leave your finger on it.

I removed the inner panel in the freezer where the evap coil lives. Evaporator fan is running.

The line going to the coil has some ice on it (small layer). But the evaporator coil itself is room temp.

I removed the relay assembly from the compressor and tested continuity between all 3 leads on the compressor exists.

Since the compressor is hot I figured it was at least getting electricity so the relay is good maybe?

Any way to figure out what is wrong here?
