Hello- my trash compactor stopped half way thru a cycle and I can not get it to do anything. I manually cranked the ram back up. I have tested the foot petal switch, drawer switch, and directional switch and they all passed continuity. So then I testing the windings on the motor to make sure they are good. I was told to check Pins 7&8 which I got Ohms of 7 and then pins 3 & 6 which I got 4 ohms and a tone. My understand is that this means the centrifugal switch is good??? Does that mean my motor is bad? Unit is only 2 years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
