The other night my wife accidentally left the refrigerator door open for somewhere between one to two hours. Today we noticed that the items in our freezer were starting to defrost and the ice in our ice dispenser was starting to slowly melt. The refrigerator also seems too warm and the food in there is no longer very cold.

I looked at the back and I see the compressor fan spinning. I can't tell if the compressor is running or not. I did feel some coldness, with some frost, on one of the lines coming out of the compressor. The other line was also warm. When I touch the compressor, it's warm.

I do not hear any clicking sounds by the compressor (relay valves?). Not sure if I'm supposed to.

The unit was very dusty underneath, so we thoroughly cleaned it to the best of our ability.

Any ideas on what else we can check? I don't have the ability to test any sort of voltage using a voltage meter.
