I have an LG refrigerator, model #LFXS30766S.

I noticed a spraying noise when using the water dispenser, so I opened the back and saw that the white plastic water line had come out of the valve. (The water line from the wall to the valve is fine -- no leaks, etc.) I removed the locking clip, pushed the plastic line back in, replaced the clip and it was fine. For a few days until it came out and started spraying again.

So I thought maybe the locking clip had loosened/weakened -- the fridge is about 3 years old. So I bought a new clip (LG #4930JA3091A). Replaced it, but the line still comes out.

Any ideas why the clip is not doing its job and holding the line in place? Is there some kind of food-safe adhesive I can use?
