I have GE dryer DPSB620GC2WW that has the WE17M22 motor. I took the drum completely off and when I hold the tensioner switch (and door is closed), the motor always does a small jump, but only keeps going about every 20th time. Once it is going, it will run indefinitely, but getting it to actually keep spinning is the problem. I also note that one the times that it does start, the burner does fire up appropriately. I kept the tension pulley switch pressed for about 8 minutes just to make sure everything was working fine.

I can't seem to find out if this is a bad motor, a bad motor control switch, or what. Can the switch that engages the flywheel switch be replaced independent of the whole motor?
