Samsung dryer: The drum wasn't turning so I replaced the blower motor. Now the drum is working, but on high temp setting (which is the setting for Normal Load), within 3 minutes the air in the dryer is so hot that the filter is too hot to touch. I don't recall this being an issue before I replaced the blower motor, but I can't say I ever had a reason to check before. I'm concerned it might be a fire hazard. Could a new blower motor cause the heating element to get too hot? Can the heating element actually get too hot or is there a limit? Is this a potential fire hazard?
