Dacor ERD485038R/LP;

•Replaced broiler box after it was FILLED with dog food by thrill seeking mice.
•I replaced the burner box.
•Had repair technician install a new ignitor. Have tested and is pulling 3.34 amps
•Ignitor heats and gas can be smelled during preheat or in broiler mode.
•Broiler will not light (occasionally it will flame very briefly).
•The gas stove top burners work.

Current though is that it might be the Dual Thermal Valve. Part number 82429. Discontinued and unable to find one anywhere so far.

Any thoughts on how to evaluate the Thermal Valve to determine if this is likely the issue or if I'm chasing the wrong problem?

Any idea if a newer part number is a compatible replacement?

Any other ideas of what might be the issue?
