I have a 12 yr old Frigidaire washer/dryer combo. The washer now just fills with water and empties a couple times as it goes thru the cycle. I can hear the motor going thru the motions but nothing happens as far as spinning or agitating. I replaced the door lock and striker plate and still have the same problem. What should I try next? Thanks

Older model washing machines have a motor coupler. If the motor is turning an nothing else is happening that may be the problem. The couplers do wear out.
