I have a KitchenAid dishwasher, model KDFE104DSS5. Within the past month or so it's been starting a cycle on its own, usually the last one that was ran. The panel will light up, select the last cycle or sometimes just pick its own cycle and run. If you intentionally start a cycle, sometimes it will just stop and drain midway through the wash cycle. Random lights will flash periodically on the control panel, almost like if someone touched a button. Seems like random button presses. It will get in a "mood" where you have to hold the button to get it to register you touched it. There are no physical buttons, it's all capacitive touch. It's like the dishwasher has become sentient and has mood swings. It goes from acting normal, then to just wanting to wash over and over, to not wanting to do anything unless you persuade it to. Could it be the control panel or the control board? This dishwasher is just over a year old.

You better take it to the service centre so that they can fix the issue. As the device is just 1 year old if it has a warranty then you might get replacement too.
