I want to keep the fridge at 35-38 degrees to dry age meat, I am converting this to my dedicated dry aging meat fridge! But now I have learned the temps vary too greatly!! I even put in some thermal mass to see if that would change things, it did even out a bit but not enough to warrant risking a chunk of prime cow worth $150!!!

First thing in the morning 6:30am it’s at 34* by 1:00 pm 45*(this was on a warm day, room temp was probably 85* but still that should not matter.

I have plenty of room for the fridge to breath from the wall, the coils behind the fridge are clean, I can hear the compressor kick on. I have been playing with the temp knob for 4 days now, everything works......it just varies too much between sun up and sun down. It gets down to temp quickly, no problems I think at least.

I love the size!!!!!!

It’s the fake wood grain, probably 4 cubic feet. Thursday morning I will get the numbers off the back for you guys, all I know is it’s a GE and it’s brown and older :>)
Can I do anything with it????
Thanks in advance for helping the new guy here on the forum!!
