Anyone have a suggestion for the following issue with this dryer:

When the timer is set and start button if pushed in, the drum begins turning like a normal start up. However, when the button is released the drum/dryer stops. I had one person tell me this was the door switch but I thought if the door switch was shot, the drum would not spin at all. The drum does not turn if start is pushed but the door is open but it does with the door shut or the lever pushed in, so the switch seems to be completing the circuit.

Any help or ides are greatly appreciated!
