After flushing hoses, clearing filters, verifying water inlet valve solenoids function good, QC test passes, no error codes, water in tub still cool to cold regardless of water temp setting. Service manual (pg 10) suggests HOT at 120°, WARM at 90° & COLD at 66°.
When set on WHITES (HOT wash/COLD rinse), water temp measured at 91°. Next cycle was set on HEAVY DUTY (WARM wash/COLD rinse), water temp measured 82°.
The Main Control Board was replaced last year (no power, no lights, no nothing).
Could the Thermistor be the cause of the low water temps? As I understand it, the thermistor provides input to the control board which in turn controls the water inlet solenoids for desired water (hot or cold or both). Any help is appreciated.
