lost heat in dryer,
pulled heating element and sure enough broken. Installed replacement, and it lit up correctly.
typical cause clogged vent. took the time to clean everything out. completely re-assembled dryer and now no heat, heating element wont light.
took things apart again.
ohm'ed
heating element (AP6008281) - OK dryer thermal fuse (AP6008325) - OK hi-limit thermostat (AP6008321) - OK
I have another part (from diagram) listed as #47 (AP3094323) Thermal cut off kit which includes High limit thermostat and thermal fuse. It ohms ok, but it's not both I assume it's "another" thermal fuse, not #59 (dryer thermal fuse), but it ohm's ok.
what doesn't ohm out is #42 (AP6013514) dryer themister, however, jumper past it still no heat. Could this be it?
Only thing left is the main board. Is it likely everything worked and then the main board blew right after replacing the heating element? I watched the heating element light up. everything worked, now dead!
any other thoughts to check?
thanks

Thx. Found a kit with all four parts. Bad news, still no heat. The heating element still show continuity, so all the "heating" parts replace and still no heat. Interestingly I get no voltage to any of the parts. Something upstream is the problem.
Thoughts?
Thx
