We are having the same issue with the same model number. It has been going on since a year after we purchased the fridge. A repair person came and said it could be a number of issue and we could first try to replace the mother board, then if that did not work, ....... he list 3 other issues we could try. Of course all out of our pocket  . We have just let the ice build up and chip it away for well over 7 years. Thanks for your post. I will see about getting our sensors replaced.

Does your refrigerator have exactly the same model number? Any difference in letters or numbers can lead to a wrong part number. Can you detail describe the problem in your own words, please. Thank you.
