Hi there!

I have a Frigidaire model ffbd2411nw dishwasher. Thus far I've replaced the soap dispenser, changed soap pad brands, and turned up the temperature of my water but the soap pads still remain after a full cycle. The soap dispenser is open and the soap is laying at the bottom of the dishwasher. Any ideas of what else I could do? We've only used it a handful of times since it's purchase - which admittedly was a few years ago - due to this issue arising shortly after we installed it.

Thank you in advance!

Hello Kryptonite,
This could be the failure of the hi-limit thermostat Part number: AP4327225
Part number: AP4327225
, the heating element Part number: AP5628696
Part number: AP5628696
, a harness issue Part number: AP5607744
Part number: AP5607744
, or a bad door switch Part number: AP5669278
Part number: AP5669278
. The reason the detergent is not dissolving is that the water is not getting hot enough or it is not filling with enough water. The last thing it could be is a bad control board Part number: AP5981877
Part number: AP5981877
. This can be checked by checking for 120Vac at the hi-limit during a heated cycle. If the voltage is present, the board is good.
