No water coming to the ice maker but plenty of water going to the water dispenser. When I close the optics flap I get two quick flashes then a long pause. However, I just replaced the optics control board and still get the two quick flashes of red. Tried to check the inlet valve but could not change the wires because the plastic connector pieces are different sizes?

I'm bumping this thread, I've got a similar problem.

KitchenAid Side-by-Side Refrigerator Model KSRG25FKSS05

Solenoid is good, water line is good, the optics have just been replaced.
The ice machine unit itself functions fine, it has been tested in other units.

KitchenAid will not share the wiring diagram with anyone except a licensed technician, despite my best sweet talk.

I suspect an internal wiring problem or else there is something that I just havent thought to check.

Does anyone have any thoughts, suggestions or perhaps an elusive wiring diagram?
