Hi, I just replaced the broiler element in my oven. That part was easy, but when I unscrewed the broiler element support, the screws just fell out and they were all rusted. Now when I'm trying to screw back in the broiler element support, the screws aren't threading onto anything. Can this be fixed? Should I just try to get a wider screw? Or can I use the oven without the broiler element support? Thanks!

You should be able to use a larger diameter screw to fix this. It happens all the time.
