ice maker mold wont eject ice. the water fills the mold, it freezes, the ejector turns but cant eject the ice because the ice mold wont warm and release them. this is the second ice maker i've installed where this has happened. is this an ice maker problem or something else?

the refrigerator is a Frigidaire Gallery Professional and like the rest of the appliances i purchased from Frigidaire, it is a piece of garbage.

A part number for the ice maker you installed would be helpful.

Also the frigadares model number. :)

I feel the same about the quality of frigadare.

I'm not sure what's inside the new style ice maker, but the old ones had a thermal fuse in them that would fail. It's part number F11 on this diagram.

Have you checked the temperature of the freezer? It needs to be below ten degrees Fahrenheit, the closer it gets to zero the better. I ask because you've had more than one do the same thing.
