This unit is setup as portable. A small amount of water (barely dampens a small washcloth) is dripping under the dishwasher exactly under where the float assembly is located. Nothing else appears to be wet underneath or on the sides.
The rear and center cages are free of debris. The center section holds a very small amount of water (below the level of the tub). I disassembled the float inside the tub and don't see anything obviously wrong. I disassembled the float switch assembly. I inspected the float rod which moves freely and seems fine. The float switch seems to (softly) click when I push the tongue up and down.
If the float switch is bad, why doesn't the water continue to overflow and create a larger puddle under the dishwasher? What else would likely allow such a small leak under the inside left front area?
Thanks in advance, Sup

Possible there is a small crack in the d/w body.

I can't find any cracks. I ran the d/w without any soap and it did not leak. The next day my tenant let me know it was leaking again. She uses soap pods. Could that type of soap be causing this minor overflow?

Ask if she prewashes dishes using a dishwashing liquid soap. If she does then all dishes must be properly rinsed prior to load them into the dishwasher.

When I looked previously several times I thought the recess on the left side of the tub was a built-in brace or something else that looked like it belonged there. But after looking closely at the attached picture, it looks like it doesn't belong and might be the source of the leak. Does this style of GE D/W have a built-in recess about the height of the lower rack? If so, what is it for? If not, how would I seal it? Is this an air vent that is missing a cover? (Pic may be upside down?) Thank you very much! sup attached the following image(s):
