The front of the center post between the refrigerator and the freezer has maintained itself at 95°F with a room temperature of 70°F or less.

It heats the area between the door seals to help prevent condensation and possible mold growth. A lot of the time there is a switch on the control panel that is labeled "prevents exterior moisture."
