After replacing the oven ignitor, my oven now "pops". It is like small explosions. Is it possible that the recently replaced ignitor is faulty? There were no issues before ignitor replacement. Stove top and broiler work correctly.

Yes, that is the part I have. I will check to see if the igniter mounting is bent out. Thank you for your help.

I checked the placement of the igniter and decided to take it out and reinstall it. Afterwards I turned the oven on 250 degrees and no popping noises. Later in the day I went to use the oven to cook dinner (setting it at 350 degrees) and when it first ignited it was a loud swoosh then I opened the door and saw flames. I did notice while working on the igniter that the part # on it was GR403. Is this a direct replacement for WB2X9154??
