Woke up and fridge had stopped running sometime during the night. Freezer was thawed and freshfood side was warm (side by side). Compressor was wanting to start, it would kick on by itself and run for about 10 seconds and then shut off again, constantly without me touching any controls. Condenser fan and defrost fan are both working fine. Turning the thermostat control setting has no bearing on it. I replaced both the capacitor and overload relay, neither had an effect on it. Placed my amp meter on the red wire and when the compressor first kicks on, it reads 14 amps, then trickles down to @ 13 amps. I dont want to keep throwing parts at it, so any help is greatly appreciated. Fridge was installed in my new home in 2010, so is now just over 7 years old.

High amp draw will keep tripping the overload. Normal running amp draw is under 2 amps.
I'd say your compressor is toast. Sorry its not better news.
