Have a 6mos. old Kitchen Aid KRMF706ESS 5 door fridge with the ice maker in the refrigerator. About every 2 weeks or so all the ice in the dispenser melts and started dripping into the meat drawer and on the floor. then after a few days it starts making ice fine again and the cycle repeats. If I call a repairman by the time they get here there appears to be nothing wrong. I had a feeling about this when I saw the ice maker in the fridge but bought it anyway. Huge mistake.
Is there a fan in the ice maker that keeps the cubes frozen? Sometimes it blows and sometime it doesn't, though sometimes the door switch can make it blow. Anyone have a schematic or functional diagram of this model. It seems like this is a known problem with these reading on the web
