My freezer runs but the temp light came on and it is not as cold. The vaccume, or woosh sound I used to hear when I closed the door is not there. The gasket around the door looks ok. Is it time for a new freezer or is this something that is worth fixing?

Is the fan in the freezer working?
Also remove the Evaporator coil cover and see it the coils are fairly clear of ice.
If heavily iced/frosted up you may have a defrost problem.
