Hi,

I decided to use my kitchen-aid dishwasher after many users of not using it.
The detergent tablet was only 20% dissolved and the dishes were dirty. I did check the water temperature and it is hot enough to dissolve the tablet. And the tablet dispenser door did open. A second time, i did put the tablet in the lower rack by the cutlery holder and again, only about 20& of the tablet dissolved.

The upper and lower spray arms are turning, but it seems that it is only releasing a mist to the dishes. I did check that the tub is filled with water.

I removed the circulation pump and confirmed that I am able to rotate the pump clockwise and counter-clockwise. So this can rule out if the pump might be seized or stuck after many years of not using it. I did not carefully look at the impellers, but I did not find any broken fins either.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Should I carefully look at the fins?

Regards,
Gus
