I have a Frigidaire double wall oven that will not maintain its temperature in either the top or the bottom oven. At first it was just the top oven and we had been using the bottom one to do all our cooking until this week. Now neither oven will maintain it's temperature. Both heat up to the temperature we set but once reached the temperature will drop over time. The display will still show the expected temperate (say 350) but if we stop it and start it again, the display will then drop down to the current temperature and heat the oven back up.

It does this for the bake and convection settings which have different heating elements and I've tested all the elements and they seem fine. I've also tested the sensor in the oven and it seems fine as well. I'm leaning toward attempting to replace the control board (Frigidaire part# 316443936)

I think you are probably on the right track. I'd say get a new board from here, that way if it doesn't help you can return it.

Well the part came in today and I got it installed. The bottom oven now seems to be working fine again but the top oven is still having the same problem.

I put my grill thermometer into the oven and I can definitely see the top oven slowly dropping in temperature after it has reached its preset temperature.

I have the same problem with my double oven (same Frigidaire model). I've already replaced the computer board and it did not fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Oven is not even 3 years old.

Must be common with these ovens. I had the same problem right out of the box. Guy came and fixed it (don’t know what he did, but I suspect control board) under warranty. It worked fine for several years and now, both ovens are doing it again. Ruined several meals now. Very disappointing. My whole kitchen is Frigidaire Gallery products and they all have issues. Refrigerator door shelves break every few months and I have to glue or replace them (must be by design). Dishwasher runs water out on floor about once a quarter. When two go at once, I’m replacing everything.

It sounds like the computer board. I am having the problem of my top oven shutting off while it is cooking, any idea what could be causing this?
