My dryer squeeks most (but not all) of the time when it runs.

Unfortunately you are asking one of the hardest questions to answer on this type of forum. Most of us diagnose the problem by take the machine apart and listening for the source, but of course we cannot do that here.

Here is what I would suggest.

Take off the front access panel and run the machine and see if you can tell where it is coming from.

If you cannot determine the source,UNPLUG the machine and take off the front panel and the top and turn the drum by hand to see if you can determine the source of the noise.
