During normal oven use and especially when baking, the control panel will stop responding on our GE Cafe Range. During this time, no buttons work except the clear/off, which only beeps. Time is displayed normally. This requires us to throw the breaker and reset the range, then everything works fine again. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Looking at other forums is seems like replacing the control panel or reseating connection is the first step. If this sounds correct, any advise or manuals on how to access the panel would be appreciated.

Lastly this only happens when using the oven and sometime i can see condensate near the control panel. not sure if that provides any clues but something I've observed.

Thanks!

Bob

Replacing the CONTROL OVEN ERC3HP
Part Number:WB27K10378
did the trick. I tried to post a detailed reply but got rejected by the forum. I also posted to 'DIY stories'
