I am trying to remove the icemaker from our Maytag as we don't need that much ice. The ice making unit has been removed from the freezer and the water source turned off. Every once in a while I hear a clicking noise, sounds similar to when it was making ice. Does the water solenoid need to be disconnected/removed? TIA
