Hello all, new to this site, thank you in advance. I just purchased a very quiet kitchenaid dishwasher. It's so quiet that I can hear the drain pump running which makes a slightly annoying buzz/hum. I ran the machine a couple times and watched down below for any leaks. Everything looks fine but I noticed the drain pump runs both during the wash cycle and during the drain cycle. Is this normal or should it only run during the drain cycle?Does the drain pump also pump water the spray arms? Also is the buzz/hum sound coming from it normal? Is there any way to make it quieter? I was thinking my other dishwashers were much louder that I couldn't hear it. Now the dishwasher is so quiet that I can hear the drain pump more.
