The Kitchenaid KSCS25INSS02 side by side is running OK. Freezer and Fridge are cold and cool.

There is a fan (relay I guess) clicking on and off repeatedly through spurts with a faint chirp. Seems like its coming from the bottom of the fridge ( and I think I can feel the faint air flow at bottom front grill when the fan is running) running.
Its a cabinet depth fridge recessed into a cabinet, I haven't pulled it out yet to check back. Bottom is certainly full of collected dust so I'll be cleaning it out.

From I've read this could be the control board. Sound right, or something else to go after? Where is that board located?

For those playing along at home: it was indeed the control board which has been discontinued by kitchenaid/whirlpool. Replacing a bulging/dried out electrolytic cap on the bosrd (C32) has fixed the issue for me, at least for now.
