Hello,

A semi-beginner DIY here, struggling with oven. I have an electric Whirlpool WOS51EC0AS01. The oven starts heating just fine, but after 20 minutes or so the fan goes off (and it keeps heating). This caused a blown thermal fuse (which I've replaced already).

Got someone come in and review it, said that the control board wasn't sending power to the fan after a while. Almost quoting me a new oven to repair it, he suggested that I could buy the part and replace it. So I did... and it's still happening!

Any ideas at what might be going on? He also said that it's likely the fan is not a problem because it starts just fine. And after I turn off the oven and let it cool off if I start the oven again the fan will work just fine.

Thanks for any help or advice you can provide

I found the tech sheet and ran the auto-test. The result was:

1 failure, 0 faults. Check broil wiring position K1 P3-1 or Broil element.

Does it make sense that this is causing the issue I described? I wasn't using broil, just bake.
