I have a Maytag refrigerator model MFI2269VEM2, serial number K00675177 and intermittently the control panel will blink and the fan will cycle as the control panel blinks. The event will go on for 10 -15 minutes and then the system will return to normal for several hours and then repeat. How do I resolve

Scott, You may want to run the Service test mode as instructed in the attached tech sheet and post the results.

Gene, Before I could test the fridg control panel went dark and the cooling has stopped working. When I try to enter into test mode I get all 8"s when I push "door alarm" - its like the control panel is frozen. I have tried unplugging and get same result

Scott, Looks like the main control board has failed. It's located on the back of the refrigerator and would need to be replaced. The main control board Part number: AP6019229
Good luck and keep us posted.
