Ok Dryer Barrel motor was not coming but heater was coming on when timer was turned before start switch was pressed. Researched this, so replaced thermal fuse and motor as motor heat switch is integral, now new Motor runs but heat still comes on with timer switch.and start switch not being pressed? I checked the heating element with multi-meter it is not shorted from terminals to ground (Housing) Wiring harness does not appear to be damaged.
next step is to replace heating element?

1)It stops trying to heat if timer is on off position?
or
2) It heats constantly regardless of timer position?

If yes to #1 I'd still like to know 100% that your element isn't shorted, that's more common. These have easy access to the whole heating system. Pull the back off and disconnect the wiring to the element. Unplug the machine 1st of course. Then remove the element from the machine and verify that the element is intact by continuity or resistance. They can sag onto the duct behind them and short intermittently as the heat and cool, usually you'll see this as a burn mark.

If it's #2 it sounds like a stuck contact in your timer to me. The element gets 240v. 120v from the timer and 120v from the centrifugal switch of motor when it is spinning. If you have the wiring diagram you can check this. Safe way is to check the timer while the machine is unplugged and see if you have continuity or very low resistance between the terminals it connects to supply it's share of the power.
