Whirlpool dishwasher 1.5 yrs old with a strange leak. The leak is not coming from the door or the lower door seal. Upon removing the kickplate, you can see it leaking from the front lower structural crossmember. It leaks at 3 places. On the left from the supply valve, in the middle from the wiring harness and on the right near the electric box (see pictures).

Actually I believe it is leaking from somewhere onto the lip of the crossmember and from there traveling along the crossmember to leak at the 3 places mentioned.

I am totally stumped. The crossmember is about 4" back of the door and the only possible place it could leak is the float standpipe, and yet the float and switch seem fine. The filters have been well cleaned.

Can anyone tell me whats going on?

Found it. Small pinhole leak in the bottom of the tub. Caused by heating element melting part of tub bottom. Patched and good to go.
