Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/19/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		I have water to the water valve and not beyond.How do I test the valve to be sure it's broken? It has a ground and two terminals.Is it possible to bench test it since I have it off already..Thanks for your help

Set the multitester to the ohms setting X100 (if available, otherwise use the nearest ohm setting). Place a probe on each terminal. The multitester should display a reading of 200 to 500 ohms. Close inspection of the inlet valve and especially the coil may reveal the exact ohm resistance rating to test for. If the water inlet valve does not pass this test, it should be replaced.
