My Maytag Bravos washer sounds like a airplane taking off in the spin cycle. From the internet research I have done, it appears I need to replace the tub seal and bearing. The seal and bearing kit is around $70 on the internet. The tool for setting the bearing is a "Bearing Driver Tool" part number W10447783 for $115. That's a lot of money for a one-time use. How difficult is it to install the bearing without the tool? Can you give me some hints on how to do it? Thanks for your help.
